Bebel!

The Thievery Corporation Bebel Fest was 5 hours of brazilian pop electro hip hop reggaedom. Patchouli, hippie dancers and the too brief Seu Jorge appearance aside, it was a near perfect way to spend a balmy East Bay evening.

I’m counting down the hours to hear the live rendition of a sizable chunk of my life’s soundtrack over the last few years. Songs on my wishlist:
