		<description>This is really helpful, another friend also noted the limitations of the 50mm (with the requisite dslr crop.)  I think I&#039;m going to go for the 35mm!</description>

		<description>I&#039;d get the 35mm f/1.8, because I think it&#039;ll be more versatile.  My widest-angle prime lens right now on my Canon is a 50mm, and it drives me nuts - I really wish I had a fast 35mm lens.  I guess it also depends on what you&#039;re shooting these days, but you can&#039;t go wrong with a good 50mm (equivalent) prime lens.</description>
