Tamu’s first week as a tripod was notable for a “hey, cat, you just had major surgery. Might wanna chill outl,” fervor of flying up and down stairs and jumping on the couch. But since then he’s been hiding out under the couch and (gasp!) in a (clean) litter box. The vet tells us that it’s nothing to worry about as long as Shamu is eating and not exhibiting otherwise unusual behavior. Vet advice aside, I miss working with and chillaxin’ with my cat. So I was happy to see that Tamu was out and about in his donut tonight.

These sea lions knew they had an audience. At Pier 39, I can buy corn dogs, more San Francisco swag than I could ever want, but no one can tell me why oh why sea lions live there.
