It is spring!

After an eternal winter, we’re getting some hopeful teasers. Tulips and daffodils bloom in the little cages along tree lined Brooklyn blocks. The cherry blossoms outside the Brooklyn Museum struggle to survive the battering rains. Let’s just say, I’m still not convinced spring is quite here.

On a cheerier note, Ayumi and Yuuki are enjoying their first spring. Highlights are cousin Zoe’s tutorials on important baby to toddler skills including how to enjoy oneself in the Botanical Gardens.

Spring cheers all around!

Bonklet World in Pictures: March, 2011

≡ Category: Bonklets, Pictures, Semi-daily thoughts |3 Comments

March was a happy parade of visits from my Mom and Dad, Tito Rayray, Aunties Nobuko, Catherine, Laura, Rini, and imo Christina. Ayumi joined the parade with a ginormous leap in kinetic motion. Yuuki displayed her talent for power eating: carrots, lentils, yams, avocado, kale, and broccoli.)

Would love to hear what you, dear visitor to Lunamania, have been up to. Leave a comment or drop me an email!

It was also Ayumi and Yuuki’s first hina-matsuri/Girlie Day. My Mom brought them a very hip looking hina dolls and brought them non-hina dolls that are about as big as the babies. The enjoyed a deeelicious dinner of snapper and chirashi sushi. Ayumi and Yuuki ate…their toys.
