Yuuki and Ayumi gobbled down their first takoyaki from the Ferry Building. Auntie Nobuko, we missed you…and ate your fill too.

I suspect Da Boos conspired to make me forget the lunches we packed for them in order to partake in the local, artisanal goodies. After the takoyaki tasting, they had a lentil salad with olives and feta followed by a main course of curried tofu*. This was finished off with fresh fruit and a sippy cup of milk from cowgirl creamery. The adults enjoyed a delectable selection of Hog Island oysters, grilled sardines, steamed Manila clams, and acme bread. oh joy!
